The project titled “Geometric and Thermodynamic Analysis of Magnetically Charged Black Holes in Symmergent Gravity”, led by Dr. Beyhan Puliçe, researcher at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Sabancı University, in collaboration with Assoc. Prof. Ali Övgün from Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU Physics) as the international researcher, has been awarded a 3-year grant under the TÜBİTAK 2515 – COST Action Members R&D Support Program.

Supported within the framework of COST Action CA23115 - Relativistic Quantum Information (RQI), the project aims to investigate magnetically charged black holes within Symmergent Gravity, a novel framework that bridges quantum physics and general relativity. In the Symmergent approach, quantum loop corrections are reflected in the spacetime geometry, and gravity emerges spontaneously as a geometric consequence of these quantum processes.
Beyond offering new perspectives on understanding the effects of quantum corrections on gravity and reconciling general relativity with quantum physics, this research represents an important step toward strengthening Sabancı University’s capacity in theoretical physics and fundamental science, fostering international collaboration, and advancing new quantum-origin models of gravity.
